Help us maintain our vegetable garden, or share your other talents to help us grow! If you have skills and passion related to our work, or have a desire to learn from other gardeners, we’d love to meet you!
Consider volunteering outside of the garden, too! We’re also looking for volunteers to help with: Farmers Markets, Social Media, Outreach, Education, Kids Programming, Event Planning, and Fundraising.
How to Sign Up:
Step 1: Fill out our Volunteer Intake Form, we’ll email you when we receive it!
Step 2: Read and agree to our Volunteer Handbook policies, and fill out a waiver.
Step 3: Once you confirm you’ve read the handbook, we will send you the shift sign up calendar.
Step 4: You sign up for shifts (at least 24 hours in advance) and get started!
Please come to your first shift at least 15 minutes early so we can show you around the garden and give you a brief orientation.
Sat. March 25th, 10:00am – 12:30pm
Sat. April 15th from 12:30pm – 2:30pm.
Bring garden gloves and water, and dress for the weather! Located at at SEE on The Shire at 3890 Old Ranch Rd. Colorado Springs, CO. We’ll have seeds to share with volunteers for your home gardens as well!

We need volunteers from March-September to help maintain our garden! Volunteer shifts are 1-2 hours long, and can involve planting, weeding, watering, labeling, compost turning, mulching, harvesting, pruning, or structure building, among other things.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
No experience? No problem! Our garden manager will be available during volunteer shifts to show you the ropes.
